Carolina Advanced Digital will provide a variety of technology and cyber security products and services through this contract, which is currently used by all Federal Government agencies.
CARY, NC (March, 31 2015) – Carolina Advanced Digital was selected by NASA within Group C (small business set-aside) in the most recent round of SEWP V contract awards. The 10-year contract caps at a value of $20 billion and marks a major endorsement of Carolina Advanced Digital’s excellence in networking and security solutions, as well as its proven performance record fulfilling Federal contracts.
Carolina Advanced Digital’s competence within the selection criteria, including management/technical approach, price, and past performance were among deciding factors for the NASA selection committee. Carolina Advanced Digital has extensive experience servicing civilian and Federal agencies in the United States and abroad, including the Department of Defense, and exceptionally high past performance ratings.
SEWP is a fitting addition to Carolina Advanced Digital’s federal contract vehicles. The company already holds its own GSA IT Schedule 70 for technology solutions. Carolina Advanced Digital is also a certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and HUBZone company, both of which provide preferential access to federal procurement opportunities.
“Carolina Advanced Digital has already been extraordinarily active and successful in providing security solutions to our federal partners,” said John Jabbusch, President and Chief Engineer at Carolina Advanced Digital. “This contract ensures we will continue to evolve our reputation as a contractor that can be trusted to supply the mission-critical IT products and services the federal government needs to meet its goals for the next decade.”
“Earning this contract award in the year we celebrate our 30th year in business is especially gratifying,” said Susan Jabbusch, Executive Vice President and co-owner. “It’s truly a testament to the hard work and professionalism of our entire team and affirmation from our clients of a job well done”.
NASA’s objective with the SEWP V contracts is, “to provide state-of-the-art computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, network equipment and peripherals” to Federal agencies and their participating partners.
