John Jabbusch, Chief Engineer and President of the company, has always had an extreme interest in technology. While attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his first project was automating a mill feed with a custom control panel that significantly increased production for a local feed mill. After college, John joined the US Navy, in which he served in Naval Intelligence (NIPS) centers, and where he met his wife and now business partner, Susan. John started the company 30 years ago in the basement of their Siler City home.

Fast forwarding to 2015, Carolina Advanced Digital now has numerous government contracts and holds the highest tier of partnership with key manufacturers such as HP, Dell, Barracuda Networks, and Juniper Networks. Current projects include implementing county-wide networks for local governments, encrypting sensitive data for federal agencies and designing full turnkey networking solutions for community colleges.

As a leader in technology, Carolina Advanced Digital’s core objective is to help clients by creating mission-focused solutions, focusing on professional services offerings and selecting products for practical functionality. Carolina Advanced Digital has extensive engineering expertise in the solutions it offers. By having knowledge and experience specific to a number of specialized markets, such as federal agencies, state and local governments, education and corporate enterprise, any customer with a requirement for high-performance, high-reliability and high-security IT environments will benefit from the level of service and support provided.
