SILER CITY, NC – Carolina Advanced Digital, Inc. a leader in network security services, announced today that Jennifer Jabbusch, Information Security officer for the company, has earned the CISSP designation (Certified Information Systems Security Professional). This vendor-neutral certification is governed by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2 and is considered one of the premier Information Security certifications.
In granting the CISSP certification, the consortium operates in conformance with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Jabbusch’s new certification involved an intense course of study focusing on ten critical aspects of IT Security solutions, including the following key areas:
-Application security
-Business continuity and disaster recovery
-Information security and risk management
-Legal regulations and compliance
-Physical and operations security
-Security architecture and design
-Telecommunications and network security
Jabbusch directs a broad range of corporate IT initiatives in information-security solutions for Carolina Advanced Digital. She is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and studied computer engineering at North Carolina State University. Her credentials also include the HP MASE designation (Jabbusch is one of only 32 Master Accredited Systems Engineers in the nation for Hewlett Packard’s Procurve networking solutions) as well as Patchlink Engineer and AEP SmartGate Operator. Jabbusch is a Charter Member of North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) and is an active member of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and Women in Science & Engineering (WISE).
