You better watch out, you better not cry. You better not pout, I’m telling you why. Tech Geek Santa is coming to Town!
We asked a few of our employees what is on their tech wist list for this Christmas. But the big question we have is, “Who has been naughty and who has been nice?” We will let you be the judge!
- Rob Baxley, Network Engineer: “Mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX switches and blank or Dvorak custom key caps. Makes typing fun again!”
- Meghan Balfrey, Marketing & Communications Manager: “For Christmas, I’m asking Santa for a Nikon D600. This tiny dreamboat of a camera will be fun to take on future day trips and outings!”
- Jen Cook, Government Sales: “I guess mine would be the Kindle Fire because I like to read!”
- Julie Allen, Inside Sales Manager: “I have and love my Apple TV since I can stream video from Amazon, iTunes, Youtube and can play music from my phone through my TV.”
- Bre Coleman, Administrative Assistant: “I would love to have an iPad Air or Mini because it will be easier to travel with. My laptop is sometimes inconvenient to pull out in tight spots.”
- Harold Underwood, ProServices Manager: “If I was on Santa’s “nice” list, my top geek Christmas gift item would be a Bose SoundLink Mini. I could use it play music anywhere I go to include being at work. It has Bluetooth and therefore could connect to smartphones and tablets with no wires required.”
- Kory Thornberg, Technical Team Lead: “For Christmas, I would like an Xbox One. It’s awesome.”
- Jennifer Minella, VP of Engineering: “This is what I’d love for Santa to bring! A Seagate Central. Why? Because we have a huge mess with several different types of hard drives all over the house–some USB, some WiFi, none of them centrally managed. I have photos, presentations and docs, and my husband has googobs of motorcycle racing footage and photos. I can’t keep up with which files are where! This would also give us a way to stream from storage to our SmartTV.”
- Michelle Dziengel, VP of Business Operations: “I have to say my Google Nexus is my favorite. It’s a great cross between so many other toys like the Kindles and the iPads. Everything those can do, my Nexus can do better. I can download books, play games, surf the net and soooo much more. And it’s the perfect size for portability. I carry it with me almost always.”
- Susan Jabbusch, Executive Vice President: “Bose in ear noise canceling earbuds. When traveling, it’s easier to use than headsets and still provide the noise cancelling you need to watch a video.”
- John Jabbusch, President / Chief Engineer: “What I want for Christmas doesn’t exist yet. I’m designing it.”
