The Spring Leadership meeting is a premier event in our state known for it’s attendee driven agenda, high profile speakers and in-depth content.
Sessions will include:
- Keynotes from Industry Leaders
- CIO workshop
- Statewide IT updates from the New Department of Administration’s Divisions of Information Security, Technology Operations and the State Privacy Office
- Birds of a Feather sessions, as well as State Agency round-table and updates
- Ample networking opportunities over meals and receptions on Sunday and Monday

“Connecting at the Edge: Current and Upcoming Wireless Technologies”
This presentation will be looking at new and upcoming wireless technologies. Focus will be on the upcoming 802.11ax IEEE standard. Other topics will include cloud ap management, thin vs thick access points, and controller-less wireless environments. This presentation will also look at how IoT devices are effecting the wireless world.

In today’s technology-dependent world, the importance of Cyber Security continues to come to the forefront. Cyber attacks are a threat at all levels, from individuals, to government agencies, to businesses of all sizes and industries. At NC TECH’s 2019 State of Technology Conference, we will explore Cyber Security and how it impacts all facets of our lives, and look to future trends and how we can prepare ourselves.

NC TECH will incorporate a STARTUP SHOWCASE by selecting 6 tech startup companies with innovative security technologies to present on stage. Selected companies will be given a 5 minute timeslot to present to general attendance, 2 complimentary registrations, exhibit space and lots of visibility leading up to the event. Event attendees will vote to select one startup to win a prize package consisting of cash and in-kind services.
