Raleigh, N.C. (February 16, 2020) – Carolina Advanced Digital, a nationally-recognized leader in technology infrastructure and security solutions, today announced its inclusion as a preferred IT solutions vendor under the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) contract. As one of ten total resellers named to the contract by both Aruba Networks, a leading provider of wired, wireless and security networking services, and Fortinet, a global leader in broad, integrated and automated cybersecurity solutions, Carolina Advanced Digital is able to provide networking and security solutions and services to E-Rate ‘Category 2’ eligible schools and libraries across the state of North Carolina.
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI) is the E-Rate consortia lead for all North Carolina public school units and participating public libraries, ensuring institutions receive adequate funding and resources for Internet access and telecommunication services. Under the NC DPI contract, Carolina Advanced Digital can provide “Category 2” internal connections and managed internal broadband services for access points, routers, switches, hubs and wiring with Aruba Networks and Fortinet security-driven networking portfolios to support the networks of schools and libraries as defined by the Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC) Eligible Service List.
